BILOXI — The Gulf Coast Skateparks Association will be hosting free monthly skate clinics for young individuals at the Biloxi DIY Skatepark every Saturday to promote inclusion, skill-building and community engagement.
The skatepark has become a space for youth and adult riders, supporting the Gulf Coast Skateparks Association mission to expand free skateboarding opportunities along the Gulf Coast.
The sessions will take place at the Biloxi DIY Skatepark, a community space originating in 2023 to provide a safe and accessible location for local skaters.
The Youth Skate Park Clinics will include free to skate areas with a helmet, consent waiver and parent presence requirement.
“We offer these Clinics to give the youth an opportunity skate with their peers in an inclusive and welcoming environment,” event organizers said.
The clinics will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. with an exception for April 25 with times being 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. for skaters ages 15 and under and open to all skill levels.
