Justin Glowacki, Reporter/Producer
Justin Glowacki is a reporter and team lead with the Roy Howard Community Journalism Center, where he helps guide student journalists through reporting, writing and editing stories across South Mississippi.
His reporting focuses on local government, public safety, infrastructure, health care, economic development and quality-of-life issues impacting communities along the Mississippi Gulf Coast and Pine Belt.
Before joining the center, Glowacki worked as an assignment editor at WBRE/WYOU in Pennsylvania, where he helped coordinate daily news coverage and breaking news response. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Television, Radio and Film from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and an MBA from Wilkes University.
Glowacki has led teams of student journalists whose work has been recognized by the Mississippi Association of Broadcasters, including awards for general news, feature news, achievement news, investigative news and continuing coverage.
