OCEAN SPRINGS — The Walter Anderson Museum of Art will host its fourth annual Flower Fest from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 11, offering a free, family-friendly celebration centered on art, nature and environmental awareness.
Inspired by Walter Anderson’s connection to the natural world, the event is designed to encourage discovery, imagination and community connection.
Organizers said Flower Fest will feature hands-on art and environmental activities to help guests engage with nature through creativity.
“Every element of the festival is designed with sustainability in mind, using biodegradable materials to minimize environmental impact,” organizers said.
The event will include floral-inspired art activities, seeds and plants from local growers, live music, local vendors and educational booths focused on sustainability and creativity. Free museum admission will also be offered during the festival.
Organizers said the event also supports the local creative economy by highlighting regional artists, businesses and musicians.
“Flower Fest proudly supports regional artists, businesses and musicians, reinforcing WAMA’s commitment to community-driven experiences,” organizers said.
