WIGGINS — The Stone County Master Gardeners will host their 31st annual landscape symposium March 21 in Wiggins. The event will provide gardening education and landscaping guidance through the Mississippi State University Extension Service.
This year’s symposium, titled “Reflections of Life Through Plants,” will focus on plant care, landscaping techniques and horticulture projects. Participants will have the opportunity to learn gardening strategies while connecting with others interested in landscaping and plant care.
The event will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with registration opening at 8:30 a.m. It will be held at the Stone County Career and Technical Education Building, 1376 Tomcat Trail, Wiggins.
Early-bird tickets are available for $15 through March 13 at the Stone County MSU Extension Office. Admission at the door will cost $20. Light snacks and lunch will be provided.
Special guests scheduled to speak include Peggy Martin of Antique Rose Emporium, symposium administrator Dr. David Prince and plant specialist Carolyn Angelo.
