HATTIESBURG — Southern Prohibition Brewing will host its third annual Earth Day Cleanup at Bouie Lakes on April 22 in collaboration with the Piney Woods Conservation Group, Pinebelt Blueways and Kick Glass Hburg.
This volunteer event invites the community to help clean land and water areas around Bouie Lakes. Participants will meet near the Highway 11 Boat Ramp, located across from Chain Park. Cleaning supplies, including buckets, grabbers, trash bags and water, will be provided.
Volunteers who register in advance will receive a custom “River Crew 2026” T-shirt and a sticker pack featuring designs from partner organizations. Lunch will be provided by Nellie’s Chicken & Daiquiris, and adult beverages will be available for participants 21 and older, courtesy of SoPro.
Organizers encourage early registration to guarantee T-shirt availability. All participants must sign up online and complete a waiver before the event.
Attendees are encouraged to bring sunscreen, snacks, additional drinks and a towel. Those participating in water cleanup should wear swimwear or water shoes, while land volunteers should wear sturdy footwear.
