Blessing of the Hunt held on Aug. 16 in Purvis
This annual tradition gathers hunters, outdoor enthusiasts, and community members for a ceremonial blessing to mark the hunting season. The event promotes hunting safety, conservation, and community fellowship. -

Beef Cow Show held Sept. 12–13 at the Lamar County Fairgrounds, Purvis
