MOSS POINT — The Pascagoula River Audubon Center will host Earth Day Extravaganza, a free event to celebrate the upcoming global Earth Day. Earth Day Extravaganza will be held April 18 at Sawmill Landing Park.
Earth Day Extravaganza will be a hands-on, interactive event for all ages, but it is especially child-friendly, with a goal of providing an educational learning experience.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will feature nature-themed activities such as a petting zoo, a live raptor show, a native plant sale, food trucks and kayaking tours for all skill levels.
The festival will also have conservation partner exhibits and a glass recycling station from 9 a.m. to noon, with organizers welcoming vendors to sign up.
“Come celebrate nature, learn about conservation, and spend a wonderful day outdoors with your community,” event organizers said.
