GEORGE — The Lucedale Farmers Market will reopen for the spring season May 22 near the George County Courthouse, offering locally grown produce and homemade goods from area vendors.
County officials said anyone can participate as a vendor as long as the items sold are homegrown or homemade, and not store-bought.
The market typically features a range of products, including fresh produce, flowers, artwork, jellies and jams.
Organizers said the spring and summer market usually runs on Saturdays throughout May and June. Exact dates and times are still being finalized.
Residents interested in participating or seeking additional information can contact the City of Lucedale at 601-947-2082 or visit the city’s Facebook page for updates.
