A native Mississippian, Cassie earned a bachelor’s degree in social science from the Mississippi University for Women in 2012 and a master’s degree in business administration from The University of Southern Mississippi in 2022. She has more than 15 years of experience in various higher education administrative roles.

Cassie and her husband, Josh, and their children, William, Annabelle and Catherine, live in Petal. She enjoys thrifting, crocheting and restoring vintage clarinets.
