  • Free Fresh Start Legal Clinic held Aug. 21 in Hattiesburg The Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project will host a clinic to assist low-income residents with eligible family and expungement legal matters. The event begins at 10 a.m. in Lakeview Room 1 at the Lake Terrace Convention Center.
  • Murder Mystery Dinner Game: Murder held at 6 to 10 p.m. Aug. 23 at Merkyster Hall
    uests will participate in an interactive dinner, following clues to solve a fictional crime while enjoying a multi-course meal. Attendees may be assigned characters and are encouraged to wear themed costumes to enhance the immersive experience.
  • In Wonderland held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Aug. 30 at Ross Mansion B&B and Events
    The immersive theatrical experience, inspired by Lewis Carroll’s classic story, allows audience members to move through themed rooms and interact with performers as key scenes unfold. Tickets include access to all performance areas and light refreshments.
  • Fur Ball: The Great Catsby held at 6 p.m Sept. 5 at Forrest County Park in Hattiesburg
    Presented by Elanco, the Roaring Twenties-themed fundraiser will feature heavy hors d’oeuvres, an open bar, live music, dancing, a wine pull, and silent and live auctions. Tito’s Handmade Vodka for Dog People will provide each guest a signature cocktail.
  • Forrest County Farmer’s Market held every Wednesday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon at 1200 Corinne St., Hattiesburg The market features locally grown produce, baked goods, handmade crafts, and specialty items from area farmers and artisans. Attendees can interact with vendors, learn about sustainable agriculture, and enjoy family-friendly activities.
