Submitting What is True? Requests

Our “What is True” section has a unique goal: Be a reputable and responsive watchdog of the truth while improving media literacy in southeast Mississippi.

It’s hard to know what to trust these days. That’s where the Roy Howard Community Journalism Center can help. If you’d like to verify the accuracy of a particular piece of information, our “What is True?” researchers can help. We’ll take your request and thoroughly investigate it—with the goal of returning information to you within 1-2 business days. If we need more time, we’ll let you know. Your full name will remain confidential, but we’ll share “What is True?” requests and findings on our website and social media channels.
