Poplarville’s long-overdue wait for a city post office is over

A white postal van labeled “U.S. Post Office on Wheels” is parked under a blue metal awning beside a brick building, serving as a temporary post office.

After nearly four years of operating out of a temporary mobile unit, the Poplarville Post Office is getting a new, permanent location. The new facility is expected to open in April 2026.
